Inaugural Arena Tricolor Game Between Grêmio And Hamburg SV Tickets Selling Out Quickly

The inaugural game of the Arena Tricolor in Porto Alegre, Brazil, has already sold 45,000 tickets, according to Vicente Fonseca of GAZETAESPORTIVA.net. The new 60,540 seat multi-use stadium, home of Brasileiro club Grêmio, will host a number of 2014 World Cup matches. The stadium opener featuring home club Grêmio and Bundesliga club Hamburg SV, is scheduled to take place on Dec. 8. So far, tickets have only been made available to members of the club. The sale of tickets to non-club members, if there are any left, will begin on Nov. 15. Ticket prices range from R$96 ($47) to R$399 ($196) (GAZETAESPORTIVA.net, 11/6).
