Marketplace Roundup: Vitesse Arnheim Signed A New Deal With Gazprom

Dutch Eredivisie club Vitesse Arnheim "signed a new sponsorship deal" with Russian gas producer Gazprom. The company's logo will be featured on the players' chests. Gazprom replaces Simpel.nl, "which stopped negotiations at the beginning of the season." The duration of the contract is not known yet" (WORLDSPORT.ge, 9/11). ... Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt and software company IDL extended its partnership for another year. The deal includes ad space on LED boards in camera view as well as a hospitality package. The deal was brokered by sports marketing company Sportfive (Eintracht Frankfurt). ... Brasileiro club Atletico-MG has extended its sponsorship deal with beer producer Ambev through '14 (EPOCANEGOCIOS.GLOBO.com, 9/10). ... Online currency trading group easy-forex extended its partnership with the National Rugby League club Canterbury Bulldogs for the next three years. The company's logo will appear on the bottom of the back of the team's jersey. The deal will last through the end of the '15 season (Canterbury Bulldogs). ... Adidas extended its deal with Australian Football League club Essendon as the team's official footwear and apparel supplier for a further four years (Essendon FC).
