Queens Park Rangers Appoint Populous To Design New Training Facility

EPL club Queens Park Rangers appointed sports architects Populous to design a bespoke, state-of-the-art training facility and community sports hub at the Warren Farm site in Ealing. Populous have designed some of the most iconic buildings for professional and elite sports around the world including Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, Wembley Stadium, the N.Y. Yankees Stadium and Olympic Stadia for Sydney 2000, London 2012 and Sochi 2014. QPR CEO Philip Beard said, "Having secured Warren Farm, we wanted to work with the best people in the industry to develop a training ground which will benefit not only the first team, but also the academy and the local community." Populous Senior Principal Christopher Lee said, "The club have an incredible history and a clear vision of where they are going; the new training complex will become the foundation on which the club’s future is built" (QPR).
