UEFA Awards Media Rights To CCTV, Internet Rights To Sina and QQ In China

UEFA has awarded the '12-15 UEFA Champions League media rights to Chinese public broadcaster CCTV and the '12-15 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League Internet rights to Sina and QQ in China. CCTV will broadcast each matchnight one live UEFA Champions League match as well as a highlights program. UEFA Champions League coverage will be shown on their CCTV 5 channel available to more than 350 million homes throughout the country. In addition, CCTV will also make available all matches via Internet and mobile. Internet operators Sina and QQ will each stream two live UEFA Champions League matches per matchnight as well as the highlights program. In respect of the UEFA Europa League, QQ will stream two live matches per matchweek and both Internet operators will make available the weekly highlights program. The content will be available to football fans in China via QQ.com and sina.com (UEFA).
