Portugal's Sport TV has guaranteed itself the TV rights to La Liga for the next three seasons. The negotiations took place "during a period of controversy in Spain, and therefore the number of games that Sport TV will broadcast in the next three years is not concrete." The deal is final and is just awaiting a final signature (ECONOMICO.sapo.pt, 8/16).
