Australian Football League Gold Coast Suns extended its five-year partnership with Australian superannuation fund HOSTPLUS. The company will remain with the club until the end of '16 (Gold Coast FC).

LET'S DO IT AGAIN: German Basketball Bundesliga club BBC Bayreuth revealed its new shirt sponsor for the upcoming season. Electricity operator TenneT will be featured on the players' chests during the '12-13 campaign. The company had been the club's shirt sponsor for the past two years but discontinued the sponsorship deal in June. BBC Bayreuth was unable to acquire a new shirt sponsorship deal, so TenneT agreed to be the club's shirt sponsor for another season (BBC Bayreuth).

A TIMELY DEAL: ASIASPONSORSHIPNEWS.com noted the Malaysian Open has signed Swiss watch manufacturer Rado as a sponsor of the tennis tournament. Rado will be the official watch partner for the fourth edition of the Malaysian Open (ASIASPONSORSHIPNEWS.com).

YOU NAME IT:  COPA2014.gov.br noted that adidas, one of the official sponsors of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, released on Sunday the options for the name of the ball that will be used in the tournament. The three choices are: Bossa Nova, Brazuca, and Carnavalesca. The German company is holding an online poll that will run through Sept. 2 and the name with the most votes will be kept (COPA2014.gov.br, 8/13).
