Electricity operator TenneT will be featured on the players' chests during the '12-13 campaign. The company had been the club's shirt sponsor for the past two years but discontinued the sponsorship deal in June. BBC Bayreuth was unable to acquire a new shirt sponsorship deal, so TenneT agreed to be the club's shirt sponsor for another season (BBC Bayreuth).
