ESPN STAR Will Broadcast The U19 Cricket World Cup In More Than 180 Countries

The Int'l Cricket Council's global broadcast partner ESPN STAR Sports will live broadcast all 10 matches of the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2012, which will be played at Tony Ireland Stadium in Townsville, Australia. The broadcast coverage of the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2012, which will run from Saturday through Aug. 26, will start with an opener between defending champion Australia and arch-rival England on Saturday. The tournament will culminate with the final to be staged on Aug. 26. All 10 matches, five group stage matches, two Super League quarterfinals, two Super League semifinals and the final, will be played at the Tony Ireland Stadium. ESPN STAR Sports and its licensees will service South America, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and West Indies. The coverage will also be seen in Africa and South America, and throughout the Middle East, U.S. and Canada. In addition, ESPN STAR Sports will stream the games live on its website, www.espnstar.com in the territories that are not serviced by a TV broadcaster (ESPN STAR Sports).
