Germany's Leading Sports News Provider Sport1 Publishes Its First Print Magazine

Germany's leading sports news provider Sport1 is "not only available online and on TV but also as a 256-page print magazine," according to Uwe Mantel of DWDL.de. The occasion for "Sport1's first-ever print publication" is the 50th anniversary of the German Bundesliga. The magazine is called the "Sport1 Bundesliga Special Edition" and its price is €5.99 ($7.30). The magazine features detailed descriptions of all 36 Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga teams as well as Germany's 3rd League, plus various interviews, statistics and stadium information. In addition to the printed magazine, "the content can also be bought as an iPad app" for €4.99 ($6.10) (DWDL.de, 8/2).
