Li-Ning To Sponsor Red Bull King Of The Rock Basketball Tournament

Chinese apparel company Li-Ning will serve as the official footwear and apparel partner for the Red Bull King of the Rock -- a 1-on-1 basketball tournament to take place in the U.S. on Alcatraz Island in September. Li-Ning will support the U.S. qualifying events and the world championships event, held in "The Yard" of the island's notorious prison. Some of the additional partners of the event include: Skullcandy, Dime Magazine and 24 Hour Fitness. Red Bull King of the Rock includes 90 qualifying competitions outside of the U.S. and 33 regional competitions spread throughout the country. As the official merchandise arm of the event, Li-Ning will provide the official game jerseys for all the U.S. qualifying events along with specially designed head-to-toe gear for the final competitors on Alcatraz Island (Li-Ning).
