The Int'l Cricket Council announced that Malaysia will host the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 4. Six teams will compete in the event on Sept. 3-10 in Kuala Lumpur. The top two teams will gain promotion to Division 3. Denmark, Nepal, U.S., Singapore, Tanzania and Malaysi will compete (ICC).

CHARITABLE CAUSE: Children's Hospice Association Scotland and Befrienders Highland have been named the official charities of the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open. Aberdeen Asset Management and the Tour Players Foundation, the charitable arm of The European Tour, will be working together on various initiatives during the week of the event (European Tour).
