The Rugby Football Union hired O2 Head of Sponsorship NIC FLETCHER as Head of Marketing. Fletcher spent five years at O2 where he managed campaigns such as 2007 RWC Never Surrender, the world's first public screenings of rugby in 3D, as well as O2 Scrum on the Beach, and more recently O2's Get Up For England campaign. In his new role he will oversee the RFU's internal marketing and support a range of projects including brand development, rugby and event promotion, fan clubs and creative design. Fletcher will report to SOPHIE GOLDSCHMIDT (RFU). ... Under Armour named Turner Broadcasting System Animation, Young Adults & Kids Media Group CMO BRENDA PIPER and retired U.S. Navy Admiral and former head of the U.S. Special Operations Command ERIC OLSON to its BOD. The appointments are effective July 1 (Under Armour).
