Robert Kraft Talks Patriots Training Camp Crowds, Belichick's Knowledge

Patriots Owner Robert Kraft joined ESPN’s “SportsCenter” this morning and immediately noted the crowds that had come out for training camp: “I'm just looking and seeing this and pinch myself how lucky we are that we have the fan support we have.” Kraft also talked about coach Bill Belichick's unique skill set: “To have a quality product you need people that understand the product, and he coached special teams, offense and of course defense, and he also has a training in economics from Wesleyan. When we came into the league, the salary cap had just come in. Your head coach should be someone who understands economics and value, because there is a budget. It's not unlimited, like it was before” (“SportsCenter,” ESPN, 7/30).
