Orlando Out To Prove It Takes Football Seriously, Sells Out Pro Bowl

Orlando is hosting the Pro Bowl tonight at 8:00pm ET, and the city has "already opened some NFL eyes this week by selling out" the game and showing the league that the city takes football "seriously." SeatGeek.com Content Analyst Chris Leyden said, "The Orlando game is definitely the most in-demand Pro Bowl ticket that we’ve seen. Orlando is a lot more accessible to a lot more people than Hawaii." Leyden added that the average price of a seat for tonight’s game is $150 (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 1/29).

Automaker Genesis will award the Offensive and Defensive MVPs with a Genesis G80 (Genesis). The Elias Sports Bureau reported that 37 players have "turned down Pro Bowl invitations this year." That is "down from the record 45 who declined to attend last year, but it's still the second most in history and a further sign that the game is increasingly viewed as an afterthought" (WASHINGTON POST, 1/28).
