Priority Sports' Brad Ames Indicted On Child Pornography Charges

Priority Sports & Entertainment NBA agent Brad Ames was indicted on federal child pornography charges, the U.S. Attorney’s office in Chicago announced on Friday. Ames, who has worked his entire career at Chicago-based Priority, is charged with one count of conspiracy to produce child pornography, four counts of producing child pornography and one count of knowingly receiving child pornography. Ames did not return requests for comment. His attorney, Ed Genson, did not return a call to his office, but told the Chicago Tribune that Ames was not guilty of the charges and that he and Ames had been aware of the federal investigation for more than two years.

If convicted, Ames faces a minimum sentence of 15 years and a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison on the conspiracy to produce and production of child pornography counts. The count of knowingly receiving child pornography carries a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum sentence of 20 years.
