Nebraska Draws 76,000 For First Spring Game Under Mike Riley

Schools across the country held their annual spring football games this weekend, highlighted by Nebraska, which drew 76,881 fans to Memorial Stadium. The game marked the debut of new coach Mike Riley (AP, 4/11). Oklahoma's spring game drew 42,807 fans to Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium (DALLASNEWS.com, 4/11). An announced crowd of 22,788 attended USC's spring game at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum (L.A. TIMES, 4/12). An estimated 10,100 fans watched Minnesota's spring game at TCF Bank Stadium (Minneapolis STAR TRIBUNE, 4/12). TCU drew about 10,000 for the school's spring game at Amon G. Carter Stadium (DALLASNEWS.com, 4/11).
