NHL agents meeting with Don Fehr today

NHL player agents today will meet with NHLPA Exec Dir Donald Fehr “for the first time in a couple of years.” While no big news is expected to be generated from the meeting, it is likely that some agents “are going to want to know from Don Fehr what are his future plans” with the union, including whether he has a succession plan (“Insider Trading,” TSN, 4/5). Despite that, Fehr’s future “is not officially a topic.” The agenda does include some “second opinions” on the current CBA, while the status of the Coyotes “will probably come up, too” (SPORTSNET.ca, 4/5).
