NBC Sports Launching "Blazers Pass" Direct-To-Consumer Package

NBC Sports Regional Networks is launching its first direct-to-consumer product next month around Trail Blazers games. The “Blazers Pass” streaming package of 15 regular-season games will be available to Portland-area residents for $34.99. People who buy the package do not have to be authenticated as pay-TV subscribers. The games still will be available on NBC Sports Northwest. The package includes some marquee games, like the first one Dec. 11 against the Warriors, the first of two Warriors games it will carry. Fans can access “Blazers Pass” through NBC Sports Gold.

NBC Sports Regional Networks President David Preschlack said, “When we set out to renew our rights last year, distribution was a top priority. In today’s media environment, fans have the ability to follow their favorite teams in a variety of ways. We’re pleased to offer Rip City this new DTC product.”
