Golden Knights Make Home Debut With Sellout Crowd, Thrilling Win

The Golden Knights last night in their home debut became the "first NHL expansion team to begin its inaugural season 3-0," defeating the Coyotes 5-2. The Golden Knights scored four times in the first period and "gave the announced sellout crowd of 18,191 something to cheer about." This after an "emotional pregame that honored the first responders, law enforcement, firefighters and medical personnel who assisted" following the mass shooting in Las Vegas.
