Hurricane Update: Ticket Sales Start Today For BYU-LSU In NOLA

LSU fans planning to attend Saturday's AdvoCare Kickoff Classic against BYU at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome "will be able to purchase tickets" starting today. The game was moved from NRG Stadium due to Hurricane Harvey. All tickets in the LSU allotment "will be pre-sold through Ticketmaster." Tickets go on sale to the general public starting at 4:00pm CT (NOLA.com, 8/29).

Meanwhile, the Univ. of Houston announced that all athletic events "have been canceled for this upcoming weekend," including UH's scheduled football opener at UTSA. The game "was scheduled to be played in San Antonio," and there has been "no reported damage" to the Alamodome. The UH announcement stated that the two sides "will attempt to reschedule the game" (NBCSPORTS.com, 8/29).

Sunday's NWSL Seattle Reign-Houston Dash match "will be played at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas," the home stadium of FC Dallas (DALLASNEWS.com, 8/29).
