UNLV, Learfield Agree To 10-Year, $57M Multimedia Rights Deal

UNLV has agreed to a 10-year, $57M deal with Learfield for the company to serve as the school's multimedia rightsholder through '26-27. The new deal is worth $25M "more than UNLV's previous deal with IMG College." The contract has a $45M guarantee (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 6/30). The deal includes $16M more in "guaranteed revenue over the term" than the school's previous multimedia rights deal. As an example of how the deal will work, UNLV basketball games "will still be broadcast on a local radio station," but Learfield will "manage the production – everything from negotiating which station games appear on, hiring announcers and advertising" (LAS VEGAS SUN, 6/30).
