The Dolphins this morning are changing the display on their home page with the aim of creating a central spot for the franchise’s digital assets to be displayed. The team worked with digital agency Zoomph on the site’s design and functionality (THE DAILY).

For the first time since '11, a Thursday eight-race program at Santa Anita Park was "canceled because of a lack of entries." Racing at the track "will continue Friday with a nine-race card" (L.A. DAILY NEWS, 4/27).

NBC and Snapchat today will debut NBC Sports’ first ever Snapchat lens as part of its Stanley Cup Playoffs marketing campaign “There’s Nothing Like Playoff Hockey.” The lens will allow Snapchat users to instantly grow their own playoff beards, as well as lift the Stanley Cup (Ian Thomas, Staff Writer).

The Univ. of Minnesota-Duluth has extended its apparel partnership with Under Armour and Universal Athletic through '23 (UMD).

Eastern Michigan Univ. is beginning a nationwide search to find its next AD, and the school has enlisted Parker Executive Search to support the effort. Former AD Heather Lyke recently became Pitt AD (EMU).

Former VP Joe Biden, seated courtside at last night's Hawks-Wizards Game 5, was "introduced on the video board" at Verizon Center during the second quarter "as Bruce Springsteen's 'Born in the USA' played." The "crowd went wild" (WASHINGTONPOST.com, 4/26). Biden was sitting next to Mark Ein, one of the new Majority Owners of Mylan World TeamTennis (THE DAILY).
