Resting Players, All-Star Game Top Agenda At NBA BOG Meeting

NBA owners will meet today and tomorrow at the St. Regis Hotel in N.Y. for the league's annual spring BOG meeting. Key topics include a discussion of teams resting star players and the future of the NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte after the recent repeal of North Carolina’s HB2 law. Owners also will hear a report on team and league business operations, the CBA and revenue sharing, plus an update on the new "NBA 2K" e-sports league. Also on the agenda are reports on the newly rebranded G-League and the NBA’s Nike deal that begins next season.

In addition, owners will get an update on the Pistons' move to Little Ceasars Arena, a report on new refereeing initiatives and an update on the league’s international player development programs. Verizon Chair & CEO Lowell McAdam will be a featured speaker.
