CBS' "The Late Late Show" Airs Basketball-Themed Episode

Clippers G Chris Paul and former NBAer Steve Nash appeared together on CBS’ “The Late Late Show” last night for a basketball-themed edition of the show. Nash said since retiring from the NBA, he hasn’t played much basketball because “something about it doesn’t seem the same when you to push and try to play against the best every day.” Paul: “Could you see him at Lifetime Fitness right now (playing pickup basketball)?” Host James Corden said to Paul, “You wear a different pair of shoes every single time you play?” Paul: “When you say it, it sounds so wasteful” (“The Late Late Show,” CBS, 4/4).

In another segment, Corden met with Warriors G Stephen Curry as his "life coach." Corden takes Curry to play putt-putt and tells him, “All of life’s lessons can be taught in an indoor miniature golf course.” Corden: “I’m giving him life lessons.” Curry: “The best lesson I’ve learned from James Corden is how to waste a perfectly good afternoon” (“The Late Late Show,” CBS, 4/4).
