Laugh Track: Action Jackson

Actor Samuel L. Jackson talked about several sports topics on last night’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” including being an avid Falcons fan. Jackson: “I went to college in Atlanta. I’m from Chattanooga, but when I was at Morehouse, the Falcons came to town and I used to work at the stadium. I used to sell hotdogs, burgers and fries.” Host Jimmy Kimmel asked if he had ever been in the Falcons locker room, and Jackson said, “I’ve never been in a professional sports locker room, ever. I’ve shot commercials there, when they weren’t there, and put on the gloves and messed with people’s jerseys and stuff.”

Jackson said of playing and betting on golf with Michael Jordan, “Mike would try to bet amounts of money that made you uncomfortable, but it's kind of like, ‘Dude, we're all millionaires. I'm not nervous about that. So, let it go.’” Kimmel: “So then, it’ll be like 20 bucks? Or is it way more than 20 bucks? It’s not 20 bucks.” Jackson: “Way more than that.” Jackson said of his friendship with Magic Johnson, “I can be walking with him and they see him first, and it’s like, ‘Oh my god, Magic, Magic, we love you, Magic!’ And he's the friendliest, picture-takingest guy in the world. And they don't even notice me” (“Jimmy Kimmel Live,” ABC, 1/26).
