LeBron James Bids Fond Farewell To President Obama In Video

LeBron James in a new video message "bid farewell to his 'friends' President Barack Obama and family as their final hours in the White House wound down." In the video posted to Uninterrupted, James' social media platform, he said, "You guys have been a true inspiration – not only to myself, to my family and my kids, but to everybody. You guys have set the standard on 'you can.'" Obama is "considered by many to be the 'basketball president,' for his love of the NBA and college games, as well as his tradition" of playing hoops with aides and friends (CLEVELAND.com, 1/20).


Meanwhile, last night’s edition of ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” featured a reel of Obama's "sports bloopers." Host Jimmy Kimmel introducing a faux video box set of Obama “staying very active while he was in office.” Kimmel: “Now you can own all of the president’s most impressive athletic achievements all in one action-packed box set” (“Jimmy Kimmel Live,” ABC, 1/19).
