Actress Hayden Panettiere appeared on CBS’ “The Late Show” on Friday and talked about raising a daughter with her husband, boxer Wladimir Klitschko. When asked how she felt about the possibility her daughter would want to go into acting, Panettiere said, “Please God no. I hope not.” Host Stephen Colbert said, “Would you be okay if she became a boxer?” Panettiere: “I don’t know what’s worse.” Colbert noted, “Women do that now, too.” Panettiere: “Let’s go doctor.” Panettiere said when her husband has a fight, she has a “lot of anxiety.” But “over the years I’ve learned to settle myself and know that no matter how much anxiety I have, no matter how worried I am, there’s nothing that will change what happens in the ring. I trust him. He’s a big boy.” Colbert: “He’s a very big boy” (“The Late Show,” CBS, 1/6).
