NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman on Sunday said that the league plans to hold "three outdoor games next season." It is "expected one of those will be held in Ottawa to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the league" with a Canadiens-Senators matchup (OTTAWA CITIZEN, 1/2).

Orlando City SC CEO Alex Leitao said that the club "could announce the name of its new stadium as soon as this week" (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 1/3).

The start time for Sunday's Lightning-Penguins game at Consol Energy Center has been changed from 1:00pm ET to 5:00pm to "avoid a conflict" with the Steelers' AFC Wild Card game at home against the Dolphins (PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE, 1/3).
