Jimmie Johnson Goes On "The Late Show" With Sprint Cup Trophy

NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson appeared on CBS’ “The Late Show” with the Sprint Cup in hand and talked about winning his seventh Cup championship. Host Stephen Colbert said the trophy  "would make a great murder weapon." Colbert: "No one would ever suspect, it's got a lot of sharp edges. Or it would be a great thing to hold your nachos in." Johnson said of his legacy, “It means so much to tie with the great icons of our sport. They’ve done so much for our sport and I still have a lot of years let to drive. Hopefully, I can create my own legacy and leave my own mark in the sport and help it grow to the next level as they did.” The show opened with Johnson and Colbert competing in an unusual foot race in the Ed Sullivan Theater.
