MLB.TV Is Fourth Most-Subscribed U.S. OTT Video Service

Market research firm Parks Associates ranked MLB.TV as the fourth largest U.S. OTT video service of any type, as measured by the number of paid subscribers. WWE Network and HBO Now, also supported by baseball’s BAM Tech, ranked fifth and seventh, respectively. Netflix, which has reported nearly 46.5 million domestic subscribers, ranked No. 1. NFL Game Pass, which ranked eighth in a similar list Parks Associates produced last year, fell out of this year’s Top 10. Research found that 63% of U.S. broadband households subscribe to an OTT service, up from 57% early last year.
