The Maricopa County (Ariz.) Stadium District has "extended the deadline" to work out a potential $60M sale of Chase Field to a private buyer. The county stadium board "had set an Oct. 31 deadline to work out a deal" with Stadium Real Estate Partners to purchase the downtown Phoenix ballpark (BIZJOURNALS.com, 10/24).

Consumer electronics brand TCL is now the official TV of the T'Wolves and Lynx. The deal includes signage, in-arena activations and a TCL Performance of the Game feature on social media after home games (T'Wolves).

The Hurricanes and PNC Arena yesterday "announced a multi-year partnership" with Uber, making the company the "preferred ridesharing app" of the team (Raleigh NEWS & OBSERVER, 10/25).

ESPN has "unveiled a partnership with Kwese, the sports network arm of African telecom and pay TV operator Econet, that will bring content" to the region (HOLLYWOODREPORTER.com, 10/25).

A fan leaving the Texans-Broncos game last night was taken to Denver Health Medical Center after falling from a “severe height” at Sports Authority Field at Mile High and suffering "serious injuries" (DENVER POST, 10/25).

The CW Network and Tough Mudder announced a new multiplatform six-part series to debut on CW Seed and The CW in '17. A title and premiere date will be announced at a later time (CW Network).
