Laugh Track: American Import

CBS’ James Corden said, “Last year when the NFL paid a visit to London, I sent my parents to their first ever American football game. They had a great time and this year I’ve upped the ante by sending my sisters, Andrea and Ruth.” The show featured a video of Corden's sisters exploring the festivities ahead of Colts-Jaguars earlier this month (“The Late Late Show, CBS, 10/21).

ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel said, “I want to say congratulations to the Cleveland Indians, who are headed to the World Series for the first time since 1997. They will play the winner of the Dodgers-Cubs series, Game 5 of that series was tonight here in LA. This is a big one, but you know the Cubs haven't won the World Series since like 1425 or something, like 600 years. So to capture the excitement in a tequila bottle, we sent our sports correspondent, Guillermo, to Dodgers Stadium to chat with the players in this exclusive on field report.” Guillermo was on the field with both teams and asked various players questions like what costume they were going to wear for Halloween, what is their favorite base, and then got several players to sign a basketball for him, because he couldn’t find a baseball to bring (“Jimmy Kimmel Live,” ABC, 10/20).
