Sources said that Rays VP/Baseball Operations Chaim Bloom "turned down an opportunity to interview" for the D-backs' GM vacancy, making him the "second known executive to do so" after former Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos. It is "unclear how far along" the D-backs are in the process, but the club is "believed to have several names on its list."
