Miesha Tate Discusses Rise Of Women's MMA On TBS' "Conan"

UFC fighter Miesha Tate appeared on TBS’ “Conan” last night, placing her UFC title belt on the table in front of her. TBS' Andy Richter said, “I am so glad I didn’t wear mine.” Host Conan O’Brien: “It’s nice of you to bring a gift.” Tate said of continuing a fight even after Ronda Rousey dislocated her arm, “I’m pretty stubborn. You should try dating me.” Tate said she “donated my arm to create an industry.” O’Brien: “A lot of people say that moment is very important for the fighting world.” Tate: “That was the defining moment that Dana White said, 'We will have women in the UFC'” (“Conan,” TBS, 6/20).
