Broncos Receive Super Bowl 50 Rings In Private Ceremony

The Broncos last night "put the final exclamation point" on their Super Bowl-winning season "with a private ring ceremony" at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Each piece of the championship jewelry "includes 194 diamonds for 5.05 carats, plus 18 sapphires, set in a 10-carat, white and yellow gold rings." The top "includes the Super Bowl 50 logo, three Lombardi Trophies, the team’s logo and the words 'WORLD CHAMPIONS' engraved on the edges." On one side is "the player’s name and number, and on the other is the Lombardi Trophy and the words 'THIS ONE’S FOR PAT'" in honor of Owner Pat Bowlen, who is suffering from Alzheimer's (DENVER POST, 6/13).
