Oklahoma Wins Women's College World Series Before Record Crowd

Oklahoma defeated Auburn last night to win the Women's College World Series, and the crowd of 8,367 in Oklahoma City set a WCWS "attendance record for the third game of the championship series." The full week's attendance at ASA HOF Stadium "came up six people short of setting the all-time WCWS attendance record." Crowds totaled 78,072 over seven days, just under the record of 78,078 (OKLAHOMAN, 6/9).
