CBS Sports, Conference USA Agree To Media-Rights Extension

CBS Sports this morning will officially announce an extension with Conference USA, marking the second of three networks to go public with details of a media deal with the conference. BeIN Sports earlier this week announced a deal with C-USA; ESPN and American Sports Network also are expected to have packages for football and basketball. CBS’ multiyear deal will see CBS Sports Network carry six football and six men’s basketball games per year starting in the '16-17 school year. As part of the deal, CBSSN will carry the C-USA men’s basketball conference championship. CBSSN has carried C-USA games since '05.
