SI To Debut "Patrick & Zo" Documentary, NFL Draft Preview

SI Films today will debut “Patrick & Zo,” its latest documentary that chronicles the friendship and rivalry of former Georgetown stars and Basketball HOFers Patrick Ewing and Alonzo Mourning. The 33-minute film was developed in association with Mandalay Sports Media and directed/written by Jon Weinbach. It features commentary from former Georgetown head coach John Thompson, Ewing’s agent David Falk and former NBA coaches Pat Riley and Jeff Van Gundy, among others. This represents a continuation of the SI Films' original programming initiative first announced nearly a year ago and formally debuted last fall. View the preview trailer of “Patrick & Zo” released earlier this week.

Meanwhile, SI has partnered with The Experts Network to develop a special live video show on Monday devoted to the upcoming NFL Draft. “The SI NFL Draft Video Preview Special” will feature Cris Collinsworth, Boomer Esiason, Howie Long and Phil Simms. It will be taped in front of a studio audience at Time Inc’s new lower Manhattan HQ. Segments from the show will be streamed live Monday and distributed across SI web and social media platforms, with a full airing of the one-hour program to begin Tuesday.
