Indiana Lawmakers Discussing Fantasy Sports Regulations

Indiana lawmakers are considering a bill to "clarify the legality of daily fantasy sports" in the state. Yesterday, they discussed changes to the measure such as "raising the minimum age of players from 18 to 21." Other potential amendments include moving the regulation of DFS "from the Horse Racing Commission to the Gaming Commission" and the fees that DFS companies would pay to a "newly created fantasy sports administration." The House Public Policy Committee on Wednesday will vote on the bill, already passed by the state Senate. It would then "move to the full House" (INDIANAPOLIS STAR, 2/18).
