Laugh Track....Rubio Slippers

Republican Presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) appeared as a guest on NBC’s “Tonight Show.” Host Jimmy Fallon asked Rubio if he would join another candidate’s ticket as vice president if he did not win the Republican nomination. Rubio said, “No, that’s not what I am thinking about. I want to be, like, commissioner of the NFL, which is more powerful than president sometimes. … I mean, they have one now. I am just saying that when the next one comes up.” Fallon laughed, and Rubio said, “I’m serious. That’s a great job. You have a lot of power in that job. You can suspend people.” Rubio assured Fallon, however, that the presidency is his “first choice.” Rubio said of the New Hampshire primary, “I have a little bit of an impediment in New Hampshire. I don’t like the New England Patriots, so it’s hurt me a little because I’m a Dolphin fan” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 1/21).
