Univ. Of Houston Severs Ties With Security Firm Contemporary Services

Univ. of Houston President Renu Khator said the school has "suspended all relationships" with security provider Contemporary Services Corp. This comes after videos posted on social media showed CSC personnel "punching and tackling fans as they ran onto the field to celebrate" a 24-13 win over Temple in Saturday's American Athletic Conference football championship game. Khator said, "Nobody has the right to treat our students this way." CSC is "conducting its own investigation" (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 12/7).
