Sports Leagues Offer Online Discounts For Cyber Monday

Major North American leagues are offering online sales this Cyber Monday. All sales last until midnight ET, and exceptions exists for almost all of the sites (THE DAILY).

  • NFL Shop: 20% off orders over $25
  • MLB Shop: 20% off one item or 25% off two or more items
  • NHL Shop: 25% off orders over $25
  • NBA Store: 25% off orders over $25
  • MLS Shop: 20% off orders over $25
  • NASCAR Shop: 25% off orders over $50
  • UFC Store: 20% off orders over $50

Meanwhile, the Flyers starting on Black Friday and ending today are absorbing all ticketing fees (Flyers).

A National Retail Federation survey found that "more people shopped online over the Thanksgiving weekend than in brick-and-mortar stores." The NRF "stuck by its forecast on Sunday" that retail sales will rise 3.7% this holiday season, "below last year's growth" of 4.1% (N.Y. TIMES, 11/30).
