NTT Data Renews Deal To Sponsor Tony Kanaan's IndyCar Ride

NTT Data, one of Chip Ganassi Racing's primary Verizon IndyCar Series sponsors, today will announce that it is returning for the '16 season aboard Tony Kanaan's No. 10 Chevy. The number of paint schemes the company will have for the 16-race season is not being released, but primary sponsors typically enjoy a majority of the events. This will mark the second year as primary sponsor of the No. 10 for the Japan-based company, which is one of the largest IT services providers in the world and houses its U.S. HQ outside Dallas. Financial terms were not released, but IndyCar primary sponsorships generally run in the $5-6M range annually.

CGR President Steve Lauletta in a statement noted on top of being a traditional team sponsor, NTT Data's "continued support both on and off the track in terms of our technical expertise allows us to operate at a very high level."
