Laugh Track....Mystery Machine

Mike Tyson appeared on NBC’s “The Tonight Show” last night, with host Jimmy Fallon noting Tyson’s show “Mike Tyson Mysteries” on Adult Swim is set to begin its second season. Tyson said, “I’m coming back, baby. I just got out of bankruptcy. It’s going to be money again." Tyson said, “I had to go low-budget. When (things are) hard, I was scared to check my credit. I had to do that CreditKarma stuff.” Fallon said of his Adult Swim show, “It’s a giant hit. It's kind of like Scooby-Doo meets Mr. T, almost, but it's you.” Tyson said, “No it's not. Me and Mr. T are different” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 10/26).

Actor Eric Stonestreet appeared on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night to discuss being a Royals fan and to make a World Series bet with host Jimmy Kimmel, who is a Mets fan. Kimmel joked that his first idea was the loser get a vasectomy but his wife didn’t like the idea and Stonestreet said, “I had mine years ago. Just kidding!” The pair agreed to spin the “Wheel of Terrible Bets” to decide, which included options ranging from getting their ears pierced to being handcuffed to one of the superheroes on Hollywood Boulevard. The wheel landed on “Jimmy’s Choice” resulting in Kimmel choosing “Paintball in a bounce house,” where the loser has to get in a bounce house and get shot at with paintballs by the winner for a minute (“Jimmy Kimmel Live,” ABC, 10/26).

Kimmel said, “Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy gave what I guess technically is a postgame interview, but it's also so much less than that.” The broadcast aired a clip of Hardy’s post-game interview where he kept saying “No comment, any other questions?” to reporters. Kimmel continued, “If I was one of the reporters I would never have stopped asking questions. I'd ask 150,000 questions. ‘Greg, will you say no comment?’ ‘No comment.’ ‘Thank you’” (“Jimmy Kimmel Live,” ABC, 10/26).

Last night’s edition of TBS’ “Conan” featured a prediction from the show’s own “sports handicapping animal,” Chikpea the “World Series predicting chicken.” Host Conan O’Brien said, “Chilling precision from this animal” (“Conan,” TBS, 10/26). Watch the clip.
