Pac-12, Letv Reach Multiyear Deal To Live Stream Games In China

At least one Pac-12 football game per week will be live-streamed to PCs, tablets and mobile devices in China this season thanks to a multiyear deal the conference signed with Letv Sports. The deal will see Letv pick up Pac-12 Networks’ productions of 12 football games each year, plus other sports that appear on the conference-owned channel. The Pac-12 and Letv will identify those sports and games next month. The two quietly started streaming games Oct. 3 with two games: Arizona-Stanford and Washington State-California. This weekend also will see two games streamed: Washington State-Oregon and Colorado-Arizona State. They will be live in China at 6:00am and 10:00am.

The deal is part of the Pac-12’s Global Initiative, which will include the Nov. 12 Texas-Washington men’s basketball game that will be staged in China.
