Laugh Track....Appealing Behavior

NBC’s Jimmy Fallon said of Tom Brady’s upheld suspension, “Brady destroyed his cellphone just before he was investigated. Then Hillary (Clinton) said, ‘You didn’t have to destroy it, just switch the SIM card, and you…uh no, uh, I mean, bye, gotta go!’” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 7/29).

ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel said of Brady’s upheld suspension, “Tom took his appeal of that decision to the highest court in the land: Facebook. Tom posted on Facebook, he said he was very disappointed in the NFL’s decision and that no one in the Patriots organization did anything wrong. You see, he got a like from Gisele Bündchen, which is really all that matters. … The way the NFL is reacting to this, you’d think they caught Tom Brady running a meth lab under Gillette Stadium.” Kimmel then showed footage of Patriots coach Bill Belichick repeating the phrase “it’s already been addressed” in response to multiple questions from reporters at yesterday’s press conference. Kimmel said, “Then he left to go stare out the window in a Cymbalta commercial. Nice try, Belichick. You can’t charm your way out of this one!” (“Jimmy Kimmel Live,” ABC, 7/29).
