NBC’s Jimmy Fallon said in his “Thank You Notes” segment on Friday, “Thank you ESPN’s Body Issue for giving me body issues.” A cover of the magazine featuring Nationals RF Bryce Harper was shown on-screen, with the show's Steve Higgins joking, “I think it’s ‘Rice’ Harper. ... You know, he plays the baseball for the national team” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 7/17).

Fox’ Ryan Seacrest appeared on “The Tonight Show” on Friday and noted the first episode of Fox’ new show “Knock Knock Live” will feature David Beckham. Seacrest: “He’s going to knock on the door, he’s going to talk to the family and then he’ll leave them with $100,000 at the end” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 7/17).
