Laugh Track....Hung Out To Dry

NBC’s Jimmy Fallon said, “I want to congratulate Jordan Spieth, who won the U.S. Open yesterday in golf, and I want to say congrats to Tiger Woods, who found an old locket while he was retrieving his ball from the lake. … You can tell [Spieth is] young because he’s never heard of any of the products they advertise during golf tournaments. He’s like, ‘What the hell is Levitra?’ But it seems like everyone was complaining about the course of the U.S. Open this year, especially how dry the greens were. They were complaining and I think they have a point. Watch this putt here.” The broadcast aired footage from the U.S. Open where a golfer makes a putt but the ball is “coughed” out of the cup. More Fallon: “On Saturday, the Washington Nationals’ Max Scherzer pitched a no-hitter against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He said that was his Father’s Day gift to his dad and then his little brother was like, ‘Can you put my name on that too? I got him a mug’” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 6/22).
