Laugh Track....A Sad Panda

NBC’s Jimmy Fallon said of Red Sox 3B Pablo Sandoval getting benched for liking women’s pictures on Instagram during a game, “The team actually benched him. Even worse, when he got home, his girlfriend couched him.” Fallon said of the U.S. Open, “Since the tournament is in Washington state this year, there are some pretty unusual rules for what people can bring onto the golf course.” Fallon then showed a video clip of a news anchor reporting, “You can bring weed into the U.S. Open … but not bottled water.” Fallon said, “When stoners get there, they’re like, ‘Man, this putt-putt course is huge! I’m going to need a bigger putter.’ You’ll know weed is allowed when a golfer yells ‘fore’ and somebody else yells ‘twenty!’” Fallon later said, “Of course all eyes are on Tiger Woods, who is looking to finally get back to his winning ways. Let’s check in on how that’s going.” Fallon then showed a video of Woods losing his grip on his club as he swung, launching it through the air. Fallon said, “Even Charles Barkley was like, ‘That’s terrible’” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 06/19).

Friday’s edition of NBC’s “The Tonight Show” aired their regular segment “Thank You Notes," and Fallon said, “Thank you Red Sox third baseman Pablo Sandoval for being benched after you were caught liking photos of women on Instagram during a game. I guess it’s one, two, three likes you’re out at the old ball game” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 06/19).
