Sources: NBA To Name Warriors G Stephen Curry League MVP

Sources said that Warriors G Stephen Curry will be named NBA MVP, with an "official announcement" expected today between Games 1 and 2 of his team's playoff series against the Grizzlies. Curry reportedly "will receive the award prior to Game 2 Tuesday night at Oracle Arena" (CSNBAYAREA.com, 5/3).

Meanwhile, Harman Int'l Industries named Curry a brand ambassador for its JBL audio brand in a multiyear deal. Curry will collaborate with JBL in marketing and advertising efforts to develop content for social media and TV. Harman is the NBA's official headphone, speaker and audio partner. Trail Blazers G Damian Lillard also endorses JBL (Harman).
